Hi, there are camera & lens heating tools to avoid this. But happened to me during a freezing night recently too. Maybe cleaning the front lens from time to time helps too.

Winter landscapes have an ethereal beauty all their own! I’m from Alberta Canada and do some regular mountain hiking. I was sitting on a mountain once in the winter time and noticed condensation on my lens. Of course, my picture taking was done. Is there a way to keep this from happening?
