Description
Wood Worlds – Forests of Germany
Germany’s forests have been one of my favorite subjects over the last decade. I have now published four illustrated books, a reading book about my nocturnal forest adventures and a photography textbook on the subject of forest photography. As one of the few photographers, I actually visited every corner of the country from the coast to the Alps and was able to get to know the diversity of the forests in the heart of Europe. In a combination of picture lecture and reading from my book “Night in the Forest” I invite you to take a journey into these familiar but at the same time mysterious natural paradises. This audio-visual journey takes you from beech forests that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, to gnarled oak groves, to the high-altitude forests of the low mountain ranges and Alps. There are also interesting facts about trees in combination with funny and exciting anecdotes from my nightly forays. Let yourself be enchanted by the magical kingdom of trees.
